CYO Baseball, Softball & T-Ball

St. Anthony’s offers children 5 years old through 7th grade (girls) and 9th grade (boys) Baseball, Softball and T-ball program each spring.  The program is concerned about the overall development of the children and adheres strictly to our CYO Philosophy and our Sportsmanship Statement.  The season normally begins with practice in early April and concludes the weekend before the Rocky Point Schools begin summer vacation.

All games and practices are conducted only on the CYO Field behind our church on Route 25A.  Click here for directions to our field.

T-ball through 2nd grade play their games on Saturday and there are no weekday evening practices.  Third grade and up have one weekday evening practice or game.  Seniors Baseball (7th, 8th & 9th grades boys) practice/play Fridays and Sundays.

 Important Notices:

  1. Registration is over for the 2009 season.

  2. Due to the seasonal changes in registration in various divisions, playing times have changed from what was posted on the Seasonal Fact Sheet.  Click here for the new time for the 2009 season.

  3. Concession Stand needs a coordinator.  If any one is interested -- or maybe a player's grandparent might be interested -- in learning more about what it takes to run our concession stand, please contact either Brian Morris (CYO Director Director@StAnthonyCYO.org) or Bill Bakewicz (Baseball@StAnthonyCYO.org).  Our immediate past coordinator -- Amy -- is willing to work with the incoming coordinator(s) to acclimate him/her into the position.  Please remember we are only doing this for our children, Our Church and our community.

Our Baseball, Softball & T-Ball Program Coordinator is Bill Bakewicz.
